2) Jay Cooke State Park, Minnesota

Getting lost in nature is the main draw for this gorgeous natural preserve near Duluth. A thirteen-mile gorge cut by the St. Louis River, spanned by a pedestrian suspension bridge can be found in this state park, alongside campgrounds and sprawling hiking trails. During fall time Jay Cooke State Park is a technicolor display of warm tone, mirroring the copper color that can be found in its waters. Great for a weekend away from it all, you may even see a black bear in this northern reserve.

3) M-22 Color Tour, Michigan

5) Botanica, The Wichita Gardens, Kansas

If a crisp, foggy, autumn morning in a garden or amongst trees and sculpture is what you're searching for, then you need to take a trip to Witchita this fall. Visit Botanica for over 9 acres of gardens, showcasing 3,600 species of plants. Sculptures, streams, fountains and waterfalls can be found winding along the trails. In the fall, the grounds are also known for the thousands of mums planted, blooming their fall color. If you havent been yet, Botanica is a must see.
