Wenzel's Farm attempts record-breaking meat snack for 75th anniversary

MARSHFIELD, WI - Wenzel's Farm, renowned for its high-quality, hand-crafted, small batch meat snacks, is preparing to add another feather to its cap as they strive to break a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title. During their 75th Anniversary celebration on August 19th, the company will be vying to produce the world's longest meat snack stick.

In a bid to accomplish this record-breaking feat, Wenzel's Farm has partnered with Devro, a global leader in the production of collagen casings and films. Together, they aim to develop a casing that is robust and extensive enough to withstand the creation of an extraordinarily lengthy meat snack stick.

The meaty spectacle will take place amidst the 75th Anniversary celebrations of Wenzel's Farm, with an official measurement scheduled for mid-day. An adjudicator from Guinness World Records will be present to confirm whether the record has been successfully established.

"We are very excited to be working on this GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS attempt," stated Wenzel's President Mark Vieth. "It is one of the many events that will be part of our 75th Anniversary celebration, and one that you won't want to miss." Vieth's enthusiasm not only underscores the company's ambitious endeavor but also their excitement at reaching such a significant milestone.

The day-long celebration is set to unfold at Wenzel's Park, Marshfield, Wisconsin. Starting at noon on Saturday, August 19th, the anniversary event promises an abundance of food options, family-friendly games, bounce houses, a dunk tank, and mini-golf. A karaoke competition adds a dash of melodious rivalry to the mix, while a free concert by the nationally acclaimed and chart-topping sibling duo, Jocelyn and Chris, brings the eventful day to a grand close. Wenzel's Farm encourages interested parties to stay tuned to their website and social media channels for additional announcements and event details.

The occasion not only celebrates 75 years of Wenzel's Farm but also its longstanding tradition of creating quality meat products. Since the Wenzel family began their operations in 1949, they have prided themselves on crafting their meat snacks in small batches, using only premium cuts of meat, seasoned to perfection, and naturally hardwood smoked. The company currently boasts an impressive range of 14 different snack stick varieties and 5 jerky varieties, offering a cornucopia of choices for meat lovers.

Vieth concluded, "As a company, we couldn't be more excited and honored to celebrate this incredible milestone, and hopefully, a new World Record!" As the meat stick lengthens and the celebrations approach, the anticipation builds for what could be a monumental achievement in the history of Wenzel's Farm.

In the face of such an audacious attempt, one thing is clear: whether or not they secure the Guinness World Record, Wenzel's Farm has already etched its name in the annals of meat snack history, and this venture is yet another testament to their innovative spirit and commitment to quality.
