Lincoln Park Conservancy continues summer events series
CHICAGO, IL - Chicago’s Lincoln Park Conservancy is set to host an engaging Summer Events Series, offering an array of enriching activities for nature enthusiasts and community members alike. The series kicks off with a Gardens Tour on Saturday, August 17 at 10:00 AM, held at the picturesque Lincoln Park Conservatory. This tour promises an immersive experience in the meticulously maintained gardens, highlighting the diverse plant species and garden designs.
Following this, the Conservancy has scheduled a Wildflower Walk on Saturday, August 31 at 10:00 AM at the North Pond Nature Sanctuary. This guided walk will explore the vibrant wildflowers that adorn the sanctuary, providing insights into the local flora and efforts to preserve natural habitats.
On Sunday, September 8 at 10:00 AM, attendees can look forward to a unique Food Tour at the Lincoln Park Conservatory. This event will showcase the edible plants and herbs grown within the conservatory, offering a delightful blend of horticulture and culinary exploration.
The series concludes with another Wildflower Walk on Saturday, September 21 at 10:00 AM, again at the North Pond Nature Sanctuary. This event aims to deepen participants' appreciation for the native wildflowers and the ecological significance of preserving these natural spaces.
