The Taste of Madison returns this Labor Day weekend

MADISON, WI - A The Taste of Madison is making its much-anticipated return to Capitol Square in downtown Madison, Wisconsin, this Labor Day weekend. Scheduled for August 31st and September 1st, this year’s event promises a vibrant celebration of the city’s culinary scene, featuring over 80 food vendors, 27 beverage stands, and three stages of live music performances.

As a non-profit event, the Taste of Madison has been a staple in the community since 1983, drawing in crowds of up to 275,000 people over the course of the weekend. This year, attendees can expect a wide variety of food options ranging from $1 to $6 per item, ensuring there is something for everyone. In addition to the delectable offerings from local restaurants and food trucks, there will be a selection of beverages available for purchase, with all proceeds benefiting local charities and community groups.

The musical lineup for 2024 includes an eclectic mix of artists spanning various genres, with performances spread across three stages. Notable acts include Chayce Beckham, Kassi Ashton, and Nonpoint, among others. The entertainment will run continuously throughout both days, offering attendees plenty of opportunities to enjoy live music while sampling the diverse array of foods.

Admission to the Taste of Madison is free, making it an accessible event for everyone in the community. The event is also volunteer-driven, with all tips and profits directed towards supporting local non-profits and charitable organizations.
