Printers Row Lit Fest is this Saturday and Sunday (9/7-8)

CHICAGO, IL - The 2024 Printers Row Lit Fest is set to take place on Saturday, September 7, and Sunday, September 8, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on both days. This annual literary celebration will once again transform the historic Printers Row district of Chicago into a bustling haven for book lovers. The festival, located along South Dearborn Street from Ida B. Wells Drive to Polk Street, offers free admission and is held rain or shine.

Over the two days, attendees can explore a variety of literary offerings, including booths from more than 100 booksellers and exhibitors. From rare and antiquarian books to the latest releases, visitors will find a wide range of genres and literary treasures. In addition to the marketplace, the festival will feature over 70 author presentations, discussions, and readings, with programming spread across six indoor and outdoor stages.

For families and young readers, the festival offers engaging children’s programming, including a storybook parade. Seating for all events is on a first-come, first-served basis, and there is no need for tickets.
