Milwaukee mental health fest this Sunday (9/8)

MILWAUKEE, WI - Milwaukee’s Pulse Health and Wellness Fest will take place on September 8, 2024, from 10pm to 3pm at Henry Maier Festival Park. This free event, organized by Aurora Health Care and Milwaukee World Festival Inc., aims to offer locals a chance to engage in a variety of health and fitness activities. The festival is designed to encourage healthier lifestyles through fitness classes, cooking demonstrations, and wellness talks.

One of the key attractions will be a high-energy HIIT class led by former Green Bay Packers star Donald Driver, expected to draw fitness enthusiasts and sports fans alike. Over 40 fitness classes are scheduled throughout the day, catering to various levels and interests, including yoga sessions and nutrition-based workshops.

Additionally, the event will feature a youth basketball clinic, led by Marquette alumni Travis Diener and Joe Chapman, which will give younger attendees a unique opportunity to improve their basketball skills with professional guidance. This community-focused clinic aligns with the festival’s broader goal of promoting wellness across all ages.

Pulse Health and Wellness Fest is anticipated to become an annual tradition in Milwaukee, fostering an active, health-conscious community atmosphere.
