The Taste of Chicago is this weekend: lineup and schedule

CHICAGO, IL - The yearly, free to attend, Taste of Chicago is set to take over Grant Park from September 6 to 8, offering a weekend full of culinary delights and live music. This year’s festival will feature over 40 food vendors and more than a dozen food trucks, showcasing a wide variety of cuisines from Chicago's diverse neighborhoods. Expect to see favorites like Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria, Harold’s Chicken, Eli’s Cheesecake, and Arepa George, alongside global flavors from African Food Palace and Arun’s Thai Restaurant.

The music lineup is equally exciting, with headlining performances by GRAMMY® winner CeeLo Green, regional Mexican group Yahritza y Su Esencia, and Australian alternative rock band Atlas Genius. The Goose Island Stage will host emerging talent such as Andrew Sa and Elizabeth Moen, while DJ sets by Toyacoyah, DJ Hotrod, and others will close out each night.

In addition to food and music, the festival promises plenty of family-friendly activities, dance lessons, and special programming throughout the weekend. Admission is free, and no tickets are required, but make sure to bring cash or a card for food purchases.
