NASCAR will return to Chicago in 2025

CHICAGO, IL - NASCAR will return to Chicago's Grant Park in 2025, promising to deliver another boost to the city's economy. The race, set for July 5-6, will feature both the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series, building on the success of the past two years.

The event's economic impact has been substantial, with the inaugural race in 2023 generating nearly $109 million in economic activity for the city. This includes increased tourism, hotel stays, and local spending, highlighting the event's role in supporting local businesses.

For 2025, NASCAR will continue its financial contributions to the city, paying the Park District $605,000 along with a portion of ticket sales and merchandise revenue. This partnership reflects NASCAR's commitment to contributing to Chicago's economy while bringing high-profile racing to the city.

With another year on the horizon, the return of NASCAR's Chicago Street Race demonstrates the city's growing appeal as a venue for major sporting events. The continued partnership aims to enhance Chicago’s status as a prime location for tourism and economic development.
