Short Length: short films must be under 15 minutes, all genres

Feature Length Narrative: feature films must be over 45 minutes in duration, non-fiction

Music Video: music videos must be over one minute in length, set to a single original song

Terms

Free to apply. After reviewing all applications to Flyover Film Festival, we will post selected works on our YouTube, Facebook and Instagram (when applicable). After a viewing period, attendees will vote for the awards process. Winners will be paid within seven days of awards announcements.

By applying to Flyover Film Festival, you are granting Midwest Today a six month license to stream submitted works on Midwest Today internet properties as part of the virtual Flyover Film Festival. Applicants must reside in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, or Wisconsin.

Selections will be premiered at an in-person location and capacity to be announced.
